Who is this training suitable for?
The BOUTIQUE BARRE CERTIFICATION© is aimed at trained Pilates and group fitness instructors with teaching experience. You should have a strong sense of body awareness, a sense of rhythm, and basic anatomical knowledge. If you are already teaching and want to strategically expand your profile, this is exactly the right place for you.
Is the training also suitable for career starters?
No — the training requires an existing instructor qualification (e.g., Pilates, Group Fitness, etc.) as well as teaching experience. Those who already have a solid foundation will benefit the most here.
When can I participate in the training?
The training is 100% online and completely flexible. You learn at your own pace — with no fixed class times. You have access to the training portal at any time and can complete the content according to your personal schedule.
What is included in the tuition fee?
Included in the price are: access to the exclusive training portal, a detailed digital workbook, extensive video demonstrations, structured theory modules, a personal 1:1 coaching session with Viktoria, personal feedback on the final exam, and the exam fee. No hidden surcharges.
What happens in the 1:1 coaching session?
You receive a personal session directly with Viktoria. During this time, you clarify open questions, receive individual feedback on your teaching personality, and can work specifically on your strengths and areas for development. This session is a central component of the training and prepares you for a successful final exam.
How does the final exam work?
The exam itself takes place via video analysis: in this exam video, you film yourself teaching a complete barre workout class for beginners with 2–4 participants. You then send us a link to your video and receive a detailed written video analysis from Viktoria. The final exam can be retaken once.
Which certificate will I receive?
Upon successful completion of the final exam, you will receive the official certificate as a CERTIFIED BOUTIQUE BARRE INSTRUCTOR. It qualifies you to teach barre classes independently and to professionally expand your offerings.
Is the BOUTIQUE BARRE CERTIFICATION© internationally recognized?
The BOUTIQUE BARRE CERTIFICATION© is a professional specialist training — developed by Viktoria Pfaffstetter, one of the most experienced barre trainers in Europe.
In the barre field, there is no state-regulated mandatory certification worldwide — this applies to all well-known programs, whether in the USA, UK, or Europe. What counts is the quality of the training and the expertise behind it.
Viktoria first taught barre in 2013 in Zurich. Together with her partner, she opened one of the first boutique barre studios with a boutique fitness concept in Europe in Vienna in 2014. She has developed and refined her method over more than a decade and is considered a pioneer in this field.
Our graduates are now successfully teaching in studios throughout the DACH region. The certification is fully sufficient for professionally teaching barre — and stands for a quality standard that proves itself in practice.

What payment options are available?
Payment is made securely by bank transfer in euros and is generally free of charge within the SEPA zone. You will receive all the details after your registration.
In which language is the training conducted?
The entire training — workbook, videos, theory modules, and coaching — is in German. It is specifically aimed at instructors in the DACH region.

Final Exam & Certificate
Upon successful completion of the final exam, you will receive your official certificate from the Barre Academy. You are then qualified to teach basic barre classes at a professional level — with a clear system and an elegant methodology. After completing this training, you are also eligible to participate in the in-person sessions of the Advanced Training.
